Qualifying Residents

The Air Discount Scheme is available to all people (“eligible persons”) whose residence is in one of the following defined eligible areas:

• Caithness
• Island of Colonsay
• Islay and Jura
• North-West Sutherland
  
• Orkney Isles
• Shetland Isles
• Western Isles

The scheme also includes students from these areas who are studying away from home.

There will be no restriction on the number of trips per eligible person.

Documentary evidence will be required to verify an address as a main residency.

Exclusions

• Onward connections to an airport outside the eligible areas or Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen and Inverness.
• Public Service Obligation (PSO) routes
• People whose main residence is not in the eligible areas
• National Health Service-funded trips
